I don’t know from where to begin. It’s been an incredible year (touch wood), one that I will always look back on with gratitude. If I had to sum it up, I would say that this has truly been the year of opportunities for me.  This year, I’ve learned to recognize and appreciate my own value more than ever before. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, growth, and embracing what’s next. In this blog, I’ll take you through a mixture of memories and reflections from 2024. While I haven’t broken it down month by month, I invite you to dive into some of the key moments that defined my year.

  • This year, I’ve met many different sets of people, and they’ve left me feeling a mix of emotions—sometimes complexed, irritated, and surprised by their enthusiasm, talents, dedication, and free-spiritedness. I’ve formed friendships that I hope will last a lifetime and encountered individuals with selfless, helpful natures, as well as those who share the same mindset as mine.
  • My achievements in 2024 are filled with moments that make me feel deeply overwhelmed and grateful. The beautiful comments on my website were a major highlight, truly touching my heart. I was able to fulfill many of my personal desires—whether it was buying a fridge, mattress, or finally owning my dream phone (a Google Pixel), and even setting up WiFi at home. I got to enjoy the foods I craved and experienced some significant milestones.
  • One of the most memorable moments was being part of a panel discussion on Women’s Day at the office. I also completed a one-day water fast, which, while it might seem like a small feat to some, was a personal accomplishment for me. I went on a trip with my cousins that will stay with us forever, and I felt immense pride in being able to take my mother to so many places. Additionally, I managed to save some money, received an increment, and experienced several unbelievable emotional moments and milestones that I’ll cherish forever.
  • 2024 Road Trips and Destinations – This year, I had the chance to visit some incredible places. Pawna camping was a memorable experience, and Mahabaleshwar offered breathtaking scenic views. I also enjoyed boating at Panshet and had an unforgettable trek at Andarban, where I was lucky enough to witness stunning waterfalls. The trek was a true adventure, with rain pouring down the entire time, but I’m thankful I made it back home safely. In addition to these trips, I explored Mumbai, wandering through the vibrant streets of Bandra, Dadar, and Colaba. I also visited the famous Croft Market and made a stop at IKEA.
  • I also took the step to start my own newsletter this year. While it hasn’t been as successful as I hoped, I’m determined to find an alternative approach for it. Additionally, I launched the “Talking to Myself” series, and I’m hopeful to keep it going in 2025.
  • I’ve tried a variety of foods this year, and some have been unforgettable. The strawberry chocolate was an absolute treat! I also had pizza in Kanpur at 1 AM—definitely a risky but memorable choice!
  • Stop seeking validation from others. Let go of emotional dependencies and attachments. Value those who genuinely care for me. Stand up for myself and set boundaries. Dealing with ungrateful relatives and unbelievable challenges. Celebrating friends’ weddings and nurturing selfless relationships, like with my lovely niece. Staying connected with loved ones through video calls. The power of manifestation works.
  • Visited beautiful cafes throughout the year – Waari book cafe (A must-visit for its awesome vibe), Artizen café (step into nostalgia) Café 9/34 (A heaven for Potterheads). One of the best things I have watched in the year 2024 was a series called A Summer Story, Winter story and a monsoon story (Blog post coming soon).
  • Finally, got a chance to visit Dagruseth temple, visited various exhibitions, went to Orchid Hotel for Navratri (Tappu from TMKOC was there). Also, went to Javed Ali’s concert (Calming vibe and soothing melodies), the vibe of FML Baner was amazing, went to Pune book festival (had a great time there), SGS mall vibe was fantastic. Of course, did a solo date in a café. Night outs at Nal stop and doing house party filled with laughter, memories and unforgettable fun.
  • Tried pottery workshop, photography (new hobby), given offline interviews after 5 yrs, attended captivating book meetup (very interactive and engrossing session that I forget to capture pictures or videos). Finally got done with the teeth cleaning procedure.
  • Failures of 2024– unclear interviews, rejected credit cards, long handover trainings, crowded bus failure, unsuccessful cooking attempts, online shopping for hours.
  • The daily grind: Countless individuals commuting to offices.
  • Received my first ever office goodies. Got some wonderful gifts on birthday: a stylish watch, beautiful kurti, inspiring book, thoughtful bookmarks, dainty necklace, lovely earrings.

Wish you a very Happy New Year 2025. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
