Acceptance = Positive Emotion
Sometimes, we struggle to put our feelings into words or articulate our thoughts in a proper order. It’s in these moments that reading different books can offer new perspectives and clarity. Today, I would like to share some profound insights from “Unposted Letters” by Mahatria Ra. This book is a dense and enriching read, packed with wisdom that resonates deeply. I have been particularly struck by the following simple yet powerful lines.
- When someone is doing something in a way I don’t want it to be done and I am not able to accept it, I become angry or irritated. However, If I am able to accept it, I remain tolerant.
- When someone has something that I don’t have, or someone is able to do that I am not able to do and I am not able to accept it, I become jealous. However, if I can accept it, I get inspired.
- When I encounter uncertain situations and I am not sure about how I am going to handle it, and I am not able to accept it – it causes fear in me. However, if I am able to accept it – I feel adventurous.
- When someone has done something that has emotionally hurt me and I am not able to accept it, it develops hatred in me. However, if I am able to accept it, it helps me forgive them.
- When someone is present in my thoughts but is not physically present, I am not able to accept it, I say “I am missing you”. However, if I am able to accept it, I say “I am thinking you”.
Something + Acceptance = Positive Emotion
Something + Non-acceptance = Negative Emotion

While it may sound clichéd, acceptance holds the power to transform unexpected situations. Our emotions are often tied to whether we accept or resist circumstances. Next time you feel a negative emotion, try shifting your focus from “why is this disturbing me?” to “what am I resisting or not accepting?” Replace resistance with acceptance, and watch negativity turn into positivity.
He has beautifully described the way we should make choices in life at every phases of our life paving the way for a smooth and fulfilling journey.
Life is like a game of chess and you play this game with him (Omnipresent). After every move of yours, he makes the next move.
Your moves are called “Choices” and his moves are called “Consequences”.
You will be tested and challenged and will be pushed to the edge.
However, when you are found to play your game well, he wins by allowing you to win the game.
I hope I am able to convey the thoughts I wanted to share. Your feedback and thoughts are welcome!
Thank you.

Yes, highly agreed.
Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but
I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for
another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of
a good platform.
