What makes you happy? Let me know in the comments.

Happiness is an emotion that can be described as joy, bliss, contentment, delight, cheerfulness, elation, euphoria, satisfaction, fulfilment, etc.

When you are happy, you feel love, gratitude, inner peace, achievement, purpose, connection, excitement, etc.

Happiness has warmth, radiance, freedom, lightness, empowerment, confidence, hope, etc.

Happiness can be defined differently by an individual. For me, its food and doing what I love. Everyone wants to be happy. Happiness can be found in many things. Happiness is a state of mind. Being happy and content means conquering your goals and living a fulfilling life. I am always fascinated by such amazing concepts. I have read regarding the forms of happiness. So, I thought, why not write about it. Here are some of my thoughts related to forms of happiness.

  1. Happiness of pleasure: It is a blissful enjoyment. Everyone should be grateful and blessed for such experiences because when you have these experiences, you will be filled with joy and trigger the release of dopamine, leaving us in a state of wonder. Example: when you have a good meal when you are hungry, the smell of air after it rains, waking up warm and cozy in your bed. These moments may seem small, but they have a profound impact on our well-being and happiness.
  2. Happiness of grace: It gives joy of divine grace and serenity of the soul. It is a very beautiful experience. It is very abstract. It fosters the appreciation of good things in your life. Example: It’s reflecting over to see how you live your life or the journey. It’s when you say something greater than yourself, expressing humility and awe. This type of happiness inspires us to slow down, appreciate the present moment, and acknowledge the interconnectedness of all things.
  3. Happiness of excellence: It comes from the pursuit of something great or satisfaction of success. It is a beautifully exceptional experience, and if one gets it encountered, it is absolutely ineffable. I can relate to this a lot because when I do what I love the most, I completely fall in love with the journey or process (especially embarking on road trips). These are the experiences for a lifetime and unforgettable. What you have experienced with your eyes, nobody can experience it ever. Example: Process of falling in love with the journey. It is meaningful work. It is flow. It is the work of emotional resilience.

Happiness is a very vast term. I may not have covered every aspect of it. However, as I recently read, “I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.”. I think I did my part by my understanding. I hope you all will like it.

Please share your suggestions in the comments below on topics you would like me to write about in my upcoming blog posts.
