As most you the people know the meaning of minimalism and many people might not be knowing about it , so I will give you a outlook about what minimalism is. Minimalism is living simply with essential things only. It is basically like having only things that you need not the things you want but never used. It’s like no love for materialistic things. Because what happens is whenever we go out for shopping , there are so many things to buy that are actually needed but sometimes we didn’t have to shop anything still we want things that we like but actually don’t want or use them later, we realize that it was not at all needed. This will lead to money waste and feeling of guilt that why I did that? I think this happens to most of us. Many times, we do impulse purchases that is not needed but still we do because we don’t understand the benefits of being a minimalist(person who follow a minimalistic living). It is a really new concept for most of the people which is worth trying once. As I am an explorer of different things, knowledge, etc. according to my interests. So, I love trying these offbeat concepts of living a meaningful and purposeful life. It is great to experiment with different things at different stages of life.

You all might be thinking why I choose such an offbeat topic but I do love the concept of minimalism because it’s so basic, subtle and easy to imbibe, if a person really knows about it. The concept of minimalism is on fire because now people know the value of it that we love things because there are stories or memories attached behind them that’s why we want things to be with us. But we need to understand that nothing lasts longer, it was just a thing nothing else that’s it. But as in human nature we need things we love. It is processed in our mind in the way the things that fascinates us a lot become extremely necessary we want them by hook or crook. I am just trying to introduce you to the very essential concept of life. The concept of minimalism will let you value about somethings and make you learn to live with less with happiness.

Why to be a minimalist? It’s not easy to be a minimalist but if a person practices it so he might have it. It’s all about decluttering stuff from your living. I am talking about the materialistic things as well as the digital decluttering and mental decluttering, declutter unused stuff from your electronic devices and also declutter thoughts that might frustrate you from being focused on important things because things are always distractions, we have a fear that we might lose that thing why because the particular thing is really close to our heart or some memory is attached to it that’s why we keep that thing with us but what minimalism tells us that things are just materials but memories are forever long lasting. We can buy that thing again but we can’t buy that memory again. That’s why it’s said that money can buy comfort not happiness. Being a minimalist you will have a good peaceful life, good mental health , you will be happy because you will not be having such stuff, thoughts etc. Minimalism will lead to an organized life because there will be less things and less is always more if you know how to use it effectively. There are challenges you can try to be a minimalistic person.

1.Do I have place for this item? Whenever you go for shopping by now ask a question to yourself that do you really need this product or want this product , if the answer is need then go for it or if the answer is want so don’t buy that product because eventually you will realize that “Acha hua nhi liya warna faltu me rupay chale jate”. By this slowly and steadily you will not do impulse purchases anymore.

2.The 30-day challenge: This challenge is really interesting. I will explain this with an example , like you want to buy a pair of sneakers you went to the shop see different sneakers tried it. Now, there is a task that you need to do till 30 days is to observe that you really need that product or without it you can survive smoothly. After 30 days, if you really feel the need of the product, go and buy it otherwise you have already imbibed patience till 30 day that’s incredible. By this you will have a good level of patience.

3.Pack and use: It’s an interesting task to do but at the same time it’s genuinely a tedious process. But you can give it a shot. All you have to do is pack each and every thing that you have in the house even if it’s your daily essentials, clothes, footwear, household chores things and so on. Every single thing that is present in your house, do it for a week and then you have to take whatever you need from that packed stuff by the end of the week you will get to know about the things you never used earlier and will not be using in the future too. That’s it. That’s fun but a massive process. I am not saying everyone should try this but if you think you can do this so go for it but only by permission of your family.

That’s about it for this blog. I hope you all will like this offbeat blog and if you have any questions or blog suggestions, you can ask and share it in comments. I would love to write on those topics as well. I am trying to be as aesthetic as I can. Hope you all will support for it.

Thank you!
